Empowering environmental rights’ activists
EnviRights is a EU funded project by the programme “CERV-2024-CHAR-LITI” that aims to strengthen civil society awareness and promote the implementation of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union.
We aim to protect and empower environmental defenders and to
ensure that their fundamental rights are respected across Europe through monitoring, capacity building and advocacy.
OUR WHISTLEBLOWING PLATFORM
Report a violation
If you have information about threats, intimidation, or violations against environmental defenders, report it securely and confidentially through our whistleblowing platform.
Our actions
Action #1
We will stand alongside everyone fighting for the environment by building a European monitoring system to expose violations and abuses of rights by institutions.
At the same time, we will work to ensure legal and psychological support for activists under attack.
Action #2
We will connect activists, grassroots movements and environmental organizations from across Europe, strengthening solidarity and collective action.
Action #3
Together with activists, partner organisations and environmental movements across Europe, we will co-create training programmes to strengthen skills and provide stronger digital and legal protection.
Action #4
Together we will design, propose and push forward new environmental policies, bringing them directly to the European Commission.
At the same time, we will challenge and expose the hostile narratives and smear campaigns used by media outlets that attack environmental activists and movements.
